Singletary is pretty much what I expected.  I am concerned with the fumbles.  2 in 3 games is a horrible rate.  Aside from that, if the offensive line keeps up what they are doing, I expect him to continue as well.

Needs to sort the fumbles out. I'm sure he will, his history doesn't indicate this is a huge problem.

Considering the positional cost and production so far. It's a thumbs up.

Quote from: kingm56 on September 23, 2024, 01:56:59 PMI don't know why this is a surprise?  Devin Singletary has always been a good RB; you don't achieve a career 4.6 YPC if you're just average.  His problem has always been workload; he's never carried the ball more than 216 times a year, and when he did have more than 200 carries, he achieved a career low 4.2 YPC.  At 5'7/200 lbs, you have to put him on a pitch count.  Still, he's always been a good all-around back.

He's just not a breakaway home run back but he is a darn good one.

Tracy looks like he is going to add a very nice element catching passes out of the backfield too.

I don't believe Singletary ever uses his left arm to carry the ball. As for Saquan, his fumbles were rare. Once a season. Whatever he is doing, he can keep doing it.
