I know we've gone through this before, but there's always players that we secretly (or not so secretly) desire during the draft. For me a couple drafts ago, it was Puka Nacua and Ivan Pace (I was right in both cases, as Pace wasn't even drafted. Puka did go much earlier than the "pro" talking heads had him going...there's that

Well, this year, I mentioned fairly often on here, to keep an eye on RB Carson Steele (again, undrafted). He was picked up by KC and put on a show last night. Big bruiser type, fast for his size (think Henry), ridiculously strong (made the freaks' list), and put up big numbers at UCLA, yet without any ranking by the "pro" prognosticators. The Chiefs' fans are in love with him and his pet alligator and long golden locks. He was very good last night...we'll see if he can keep it up. Regardless, I'd rather have him on our roster than Eric Gray, and he was there for the taking https://arrowheadaddict.com/posts/carson-steele-passes-latest-test-with-flying-colors-for-chiefs-in-week-3-01j8feexqes8

Yet...maybe we finally got one of those hidden gems that flew under the radar with Elijah Chatman. Watching his sack in slow-mo, it is obvious that his shorter height actually helped him as the lineman trying to stop him grazed the top of his helmet as "Baby Bison" ran under it and right into the chops of Watson  =D>
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

Jolly: Just so they don't put him out there "too often."  When a guy is that "small" (by comparison) he will wear down, not only in the game, but during the season (as you know, that is especially true of rookies). Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

I agree that he shouldn't be overused as a rookie, but he isn't small...he's 3 inches shorter than the avg DT/DE. He's the strongest guy on the team and built like a bull. Pound for pound, he's a monster. Being shorter, but still built like a bull, could actually be an advantage. Being shorter than ideal/average didn't hurt Aaron Donald any...in fact, I'd argue it was his secret weapon being so short
