Wan'Dale Robinson WR PFF grade jumping

Most of us focus on Malik Nabers, however Wan'Dale Robinson is turning into a solid #2 WR.

His PFF score has jumped to 73.2, and I believe Schoen has hit on him and JMS in the draft.

I think the team has two good pieces here to help build upon.

Wandale is a stud.  I look forward to watching him blossom even more with Malik to probably get double teamed or shaded most of the time.

Hopefully with the OL seeming pretty settled and performing as a cohesive unit DJ will feel settled and protected and his deep and intermediate accuracy will continue to improve.

Thankfully, someone draft picks are starting to develop, his run blocking is atrocious so hopefully he could find the desire to participate in that as well.

At 5'8", 185 pounds, Wan'Dale isn't blocking anyone (unless a cheerleader decides to make a tackle).

Advanced metrics have really liked Wan'Dale. His quickness in short areas really stands out. Never going to be a burner on the outside, but I think he can really be productive in the middle of the defense.

His YAC ability is up there with anyone. Turned a couple of check down type throws into 10+ yard gains on Sunday. There was another play in the second half (slant route) that Jones missed on that he might have taken to the house.

He's doing well but one area he has to show improvement is running his route past the marker and not "to" the marker

He's a limited but very good player. as the announcers during the game pointed out, he's that julian edelman type that can get open and make a guy miss. every team needs a chain mover. im happy to have him.

I like Won'Dale; he is proving to be a good short-yardage receiver.  That being said, his 27 5/8'' arm length doesn't give him much of a catch radius.   You really have to be spot-on when you are targeting him.

I don't think I WANT to see him doing much blocking because that is almost asking to be injured, at his size.  I try to focus on what a guy does well, not what he's physically incapable of.

Now fully healthy, he is a great piece to this offense.
