I stand by saying he is a great piece, but he needs to be more consistent, and continue to realize his potential.
I think he'll be fine. Keep in mind he missed essentially a full year due to injury. For all intents and purposes, this is his second year.

I see him being much better as the season goes on.

I think we agree and are saying the same thing with different wording :)

Great game yesterday by him, he and Nabers compliment each other very well.

Two consecutive 7-8 yard catches moves the chains and the defense starts paying attention to him. He and Nabers will fuel the passing game as the season goes on.

Is anyone asking him to be a stud? That's Nabers. Wan'Dale is a complimentary player--and it appears that he can be a good one. His limitations are exacerbated by defenses compressing towards the LOS.

He goes down too easy for me. He had a few chances to change the game last night and didn't. He really should have scored at the goal line but couldn't beat the one guy there, and dropped the 4th and 6. Strikes me as a JAG slot guy, nothing really more

Someone earlier posted he's a stud.

I am sorry but the bar here is so damn low for what talent is.  What Nabers has done first four games is talent.  What Robinson has done is not.  His high catch for low amount of yards is not noteworthy.

Absolutely. He's a 4th receiver on most teams. 5 yards per catch for your 2nd option is horrendous. God I miss Ike Hilliard. He was the perfect #2 receiver for Collins. He knew where the first down marker was and when to cut. Robinson seems oblivious to how many yards are needed to get the first down.

29 of 38 targets were to Nabers and Robinson.  Slayton got 5 targets and no one else got more than 1.  They need to spread the ball around a little.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

Not slowing my roll

We see it the same.  Would we be happy if a RB was getting 50 yards every game but needing 25 carries to do so?  Of course not.  I think it is exactly the same.

Matt has been saying we should look favorably at Devin Singletary because he's a lifelong 4.6 yards per carry which is very good.  I think Matt is right.  High productivity done efficiently usually means very good things will happen.  Look at Randy Moss.  He might catch 5–6 balls in a game but his talent meant he might generate 100 yards doing so.  Think about the stress that outs on a defense.

Wandale's low efficiency in total yardage is not keeping defenses up at night.
