SMART, TOUGH, DEPENDABLE

Grime Time

I think we play well but we let them drive just enough to score a 68 yard field goal to win.  I realllllly wanna win but I just wanna beat the xxxx out of them regardless of the score.
Get busy livin ,  or get busy dying.

Aside from the obvious that I will be rooting like hell for Our Heroes to beat the Cows, whether or not they do, I just can't imagine them getting their asses kicked again like last year's 0-40 and 17-49. It's time to start wearing big boy shoes.

Cheers!

Not sure how it will all play out but I did place these bets:

-Wandale Robinson 6+ Receptions
-Same Game Parlay of Ceedee Lamb anytime TD + Devin Singletary 50+ yards + Wandale Robinson 40+ yards + Ceedee Lamb 60+ yards

I think Ceedee Lamb has a big game- premiere WRs who pout typically come back with big games after their QBs force the ball their way.  And obviously I think Wandale is going to find some good holes in the D as DJ gets the ball out on shorter routes this week.

Who wins?  Who knows.   =))

How is this even possible?

Giants win against a team that has never travelled on a short week.

I predict a GREEN rating after the game for Strategic Imperative #2:

"CLOSE THE GAP between the Giants and their KEY DIVISION RIVALS (i.e. DALLAS and Philadelphia).

I won't tell you who wins, but I will predict they won't walk off the field as pant-wetting lily huggers.

Peace!

"Dave Jennings was one of the all-time great Giants. He was a valued member of the Giants family for more than 30 years as a player and a broadcaster, and we were thrilled to include him in our Ring of Honor. We will miss him dearly." (John Mara)

Losing Phillips and Jackson leaves the already weak defensive backfield more vulnerable than ever. Unless the Giants can unleash a huge pass rush, I expect the Cowboys to score a lot.

The Vegas line opened at Cowboys -4.5 and is now -6 in many spots. 30-20 Dallas

All they got is Lamb and Ferguson, question is can they contain Lamb?

our secondary is depleted with injuries. if the front 7 doesnt get pressure we are doomed. we always play bad with dallas.

unfortunately i think we lose 28-13.

Cowgirls have given up 474 rushing yards in the last 2 weeks.  Parsons has been MIA for most part.

Giants OL has not shown consistent ability to block for the run.  This would be a good game to do that.

Uncle Mickey

Cowboys stuff the Box to stop the run and roll safety coverage 60/40 shade to Nabers side. Basically overplaying our run and Nabers and daring us to beat them with anything else.

If we get WanDale on favorable matchups and run stuff over the box jam, medium crossers. Also have outlet and man-beaters cooked in our plays like we did Cleveland, I think we score a decent amount on them. Zimmer is not anywhere near Quinn as a DC. Running backs catching out of the backfield were excellent vs Cleveland.

Rollouts and hitting the TE off delayed releases worked so well in 2022 and will this game.

Hodgins coming in and surprising as a more reliable target than Slayton this year. Some well timed play-action.

Using Nabers as a decoy early on to set up a bunch of other stuff and then getting him involved a few series in when they adjust.

Hitting a deep ball or two because it will be open can Hyatt step up this game?

Daboll was a master of keeping the other D off-balance in 2022 when we had very little talent across the board except Barkley. Last 2 games have looked philosophically a whole lot more like 2022 when we gave eye candy one way and did something entirely different.

A very competitive game. Hard to see Dallas losing three in a row. 24-20 Dallas.

If the Giants protect the ball and stay out of 3rd and longs they win. They can't run away from Dallas but they can beat them the same way the last two teams did. Nothing fancy. Hat on a hat right down their throat and dare the Cowboys to stop it if they can.

Giants 31, Cowboys 26.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant - Robert McCloskey (if he were on this Forum)

Cowboys 30-20.

I want to be enthusiastic after what was a nice win in Cleveland but I just can't put it together.
