Not the glitziest slate this week, but still some games that have some intrigue. Here are a few I'm keying on a bit:

SMU at Louisville (-6.5):

Mustangs may not be on your radar, but they've won back to back games, including destroying FSU 42-16 and they hung 66 on TCU the week before that. They're not ranked, but they will be if they win this one. Should be a close, solid game. I could actually see the upset here as Lousiville may be a little flat after their rough loss in South Bend last week.

Missouri at Texas A+M (-2.5): I feel like the wrong team is favored here. I appreciate that College Station is a tough venue, but we've already seen A+M get upended at home by a decent but not elite ND squad. Mizzou is a top 10 team right now. This would be a big win for A+M if they could pull it off, but I have my doubts.

Auburn at Georgia (-22): The Bulldogs ran face first into a buzz-saw in Tuscaloosa last week, and they had a tough time getting by Kentucky the week before. They need a statement win in the worst way. Auburn is in the wrong place at the wrong time here. I don't see this one being close, personally.

Ole Miss at South Carolina (+9): Interesting game here. Ole Miss was a top 10 team that got shocked by Kentucky last week. They need a rebound win badly. South Carolina isn't all that bad though. This team won in Kentucky and came within a whisker of beating LSU. This should be a very interesting one.

Michigan at Washington (-1.5): Another very interesting game. Michigan, 10th ranked, is a dog against an unranked Huskies team in a rematch of last year's national championship game. We know the Huskies will be motivated at home here, but will that be enough?

Miami at U Cal (+10): Everyone is high on the Canes this year, and fair enough, but the Bears aren't a pushover. I think Miami wins here, but I wouldn't surprised if it's closer than people think. And I wouldn't completely rule out the upset.

Texas A&M is pounding #9 Missouri 24-0
Ole Miss vs South Carolina is a big game. No one wants 2 losses this early in the SEC. South Carolina is a very underrate team IMO

I would have to agree on South Carolina. Based on the fact that they won in Kentucky and Ole Miss lost at home to Kentucky, it's hard not to respect the Gamecocks a little bit. That said, sports don't always work that way. Ole Miss has plenty of talent and could come out swarming in this one.

Mizzou walked into a buzz-saw here. This team doesn't look remotely close to being top 10 caliber.

SMU doing a nice job so far in Louisville.

Yeh, the Aggies are going to be pissed when they lose this one. Yup, I said it.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant - Robert McCloskey (if he were on this Forum)

Ole miss came out playing like the team they are and a shell of the team vs Kentucky.

I had backed off boasting about Syracuse's upgraded talent across the board, especially the new coach and new QB...because after losing to Stanford, I figured I jinxed them

Anyhoooo...they beat 25th ranked Las Vegas, in Vegas last night. Close game that required OT to finish, but S.U. came out on top

Check out this game winning play to end the game. A battle between RB LeQuint and LB Woodard, with appeared to be a stop - that what you call, going ManoMano and the will to win

Vegas was nice enough to turn the sphere into Otto, which I thought was cool

When I look at Allegiant Stadium and compare it with Metlife Stadium, it makes me sick
What a gorgeous stadium compared to our silver tuna can
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

A tuna can would be an improvement. It's the infamous Sardine Can, stink and all.

Peace!

2:47 left in the game, Vandy's ball. Now it's all about running out the clock

Man that's a seriously bad loss for DeBoer and this Bama team.
