I think to be successful coaches cant impose a blocking scheme but must i stead look at what their OL players do best as well as what their RBs do best.

If not, it's be like asking a rock guitar player to be a talented jazz guitar player.

Bobby is a great evaluator..and I believe the Giants should do exactly that.

The team is 2-3. Could they be better? Yes..but that's unimportant. Now is where have to start making key executions in big spots on offense.

12 games to go. I'm not expecting miracles, but the Seattle game might be something to feel lasting about.

Well executed and thought through performance by the Jints.

Looking at the personnel they have, that makes sense.

To run outside zone you really need a skilled, well-developed OL with + athleticism.

The Giants OL as a group is definitely more of the lunchpail variety. They are smart, tough and communicate well but as a group, they don't have "outside zone" athleticism.

Using too much OL zone blocking was also mentioned (as a criticism) during one of the national broadcasts this week... I'm fairly sure it was during the Ravens game, but it might have been the Steelers' game.

If anyone remembers I'd like you to mention it here please. I want to re-watch that game.

I'm curious to see why switching from zone to man blocking in the second half worked so well for them.

PS. By the way, although I agree with Skinner in general about zone blocking, IMO the type of blocking the Giants did (or did not do) this weekend was less of a factor than the style of the running back combined with the fact (IMO) that Seattle's run defense is not very good (compared to the four other teams the we have played thus far in the season.
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!
