I'd say a combination of Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith, Earl Campbell, Bo Jackson, and Adrian Peterson.  But I don't wanna get too far ahead of myself on this one

Jim: Yes, I also see something about Tracy that reminds me of Tiki. But (repeating myself), IMO the game has changed enough (even in the relatively brief time since Tiki quit) that it's harder to compare Tracy to Tiki than comparing him to a guy who's still playing. Bob

I'm gonna stick with Tiki. Everyone else is naming RB's from his era or before. I was only thinking Giants RB's.

Tiki's first three years were garbage. It was a wake up call when the Giants drafted Ron Dayne.

Just curious, if you had to name any player from any team, past or present, that Tracy (in the little we have seen of him) reminds you of, who would it be, and why?

I actually don't have anyone in mind yet myself ... I am still mulling it and would like to see more of him. But I'm curious what others think.

For now, he reminds me of Tyrone Tracy. I hope when he grows up, he becomes his best version of Tyrone Tracy and I'd bet his mom and dad feel exactly the same way, just like any parent would want for their child.

It's early but I was trying to think of a good comparison for his pad level, one-cut deceptive speed and hands. The closest thing I could come up with was a young Wilbert Montgomery.

I loved Guyton! He impressed Parcells so much as a rookie that he started over Greg Jackson who was drafted way earlier in the 89 draft. After letting Kinnard leave in plan B free agency they both became starting safeties on the 90 SB winning team through Simms and Taylor's final season in 93. Sadly George Young misjudged what other teams were willing to offer in the new era of unrestricted free agency and lost both starting safeties prior to the 94 season and the D suffered with the new guys forced to start like Jesse Campbell. It was like losing both McKinney and Love in the same offseason worse replacements than who we have now.
