You just absolutely hate Jones.   I am not saying he is good but it is not always his fault every time they lose as you seem to think...there were as many dropped balls as bad passes tonight
And a lineman down field on 50 plus yard play.....they are not good enough to overcome stupid penalties that take away big plays

They're not good enough to overcome those issues with this QB, that's for sure.

And look beyond this game: the Giants have a bottom-third offense despite star WR, solid receiving corps, good pass blocking line, and decent evolving RB options. Why are they incapable of average offensive output? Really, just use Occam's razor here. It's been years of this. The outcome is the same because the most important ingredient is not enough.

Why so? Daboll could have kicked a FG. And he could have gotten a new QB in 3 years he been here

And he has TWO other QB's on the roster to save us from watching "Groundhog Day" Jones.  Let's lose with somebody different at least.  Watching Jones is cruel punishment for even the most casual fan.

And Jones isn't good enough to overcome any set backs either.

When's the last time he threw a TD at home?

Burrow had to make one throw to ice the game. He did it.

This defense is playing the best we have seen in years.

The offense is as putrid and flaccid as ever.

This isn't a rookie in his first game.

Enough is enough.

I'm not a hater. Yes, I think they should have moved on when they extended him. But it's 4am where I am - if I was hating, I wouldn't waste my time staying up.  But it's not just one game, Jones isn't good enough. You go the two min warning and you've given up 10pts against this Bengals O who put up 38 last week against a Super Bowl contender.

It's just not good enough.

Go read my posts before u cast dispersions. I never said I hate jones. I said consistently he's a good person, good giant, hard worker - but unfortunately cannot deliver. We lost tonight because he couldn't get us into the end zone.

I said earlier, our D did not deserve to be on the losing side tonight.
I dunno what's going on with Daboll and the play calling, whether he feels limited by Jones or not.....no idea.
Offensively we stunk ..... one way or another.

LOL...so one missed play overcomes the multiple poor plays by DJ tonight?  He was AWEFUL tonight, despite a solid running game and good pass-protection.  You're not going to win manning games with your QB plays like this.

Running game wasn't around until second half and Thomas got beat bad a few times and allowed pressure on key plays .
Jones wasn't great but others contributed to the loss.
Not just Jones..Several dropped passes tonight and I think they are one of the top teams with dropped passes this year.
There were bad throws.  But which bad throw cost them the game and which dropped pass may have helped win the game.

One thing for sure Thibs was not missed and Nabors was missed....

You and I watched a completely different game...DJ was objectively bad this evening.  In the NFL, you don't win games with your QB is this bad...
