I just hope today was a benching and not just cause it was a blowout. I'm so ready for the Jones era to be complete. Don't care if it's Lock or Davito. I just want to give one of them a chance to spark the offense before we're effectively eliminated from the playoffs.

"They" called it. Were elated when he was the first qb to have option declined and then sign a deal.

That's all that's left. The need to tell you they knew better than you, despite it being objectively awful.

I'm only in the 2nd Quarter, but I can say this...

The #Giants tried to dial up deep shots; they had multiple stutter-and-go routes to exploit PHI sitting on quick game. Both the Giants' first two drives were ended by sacks. Jones didn't have much of a chance on those two plays.

PHI aggressively played the No. 2 WRs (frequent first reads) underneath. Out/In, adjacent zone defenders were quickly in the receiver's hip pocket.

Early on, Daboll had plays with open receivers, but Jones was on his ass before he could throw. It seemed like the early hits/pressure forced Jones out of sync, which we've seen often this season.

This manifested on the Giants' 5th offensive drive right after Philly's 1st TD:

2nd & 6 RPO called back - held onto it too long
2nd & 11 3x1 DIG INC on throw behind Slayton
3rd & 11 SACK with multiple WRs curled open at STIX

We haven't seen much resilience from the QB this season when the defense hits him early.
