The all for Aaron Rodgers movement continues.  The Jets and Raiders are finalizing a trade sending Adams to New York for a conditional third round pick that can possibly become a second rounder.

Johnson is desperate to appease the QB... who could leave after this season.

If the move is available I guess you make it but if they lose to the Steelers and go to 2-5 will it matter?

M: I think that's why the deal is happening now.  Don't assume they can't beat the Steelers. I follow them and believe they're good, but not quite as good as they appear to be right now. Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

I think the Jets are desperate. It's all about this year. No one knows if Rodgers will be back next year and it's certain he won't be if they continue losing. I don't think they have a QB of the future now. Their only hope is 36 year old Tyrod Taylor giving them a year or so while they groom a QB of the future.

This guy is reminding me of the Colts owner now. Just doing brash things to try and will the way to winning. It is just doesn't work like that. Winning is sort of an organic process that takes years of fermentation like brewing wine or something.

This has to be some kind of record ; a 2-4 team trading and firing a coach mid season.

It's the Jets man. You always stink and forever will. And I am glad I am not a jets fan. Right now Rodgers must be kicking himself. But then again it seemslike he is getting more respect here than he was in GB.

Here's what I don't understand though.  Is this really going to solve whatever their problem seems to be?  Last night their running back rushed for over 100 yards and had fifty yards receiving.  Two receivers Wilson and Lazard had over 100 yards and a touch down apiece.

With that they still lost.

The Rams say Hi

They will be (if not already are) the laughing stock of the league if Rodgers gets hurt throwing his first pass to Adams.

LOL...unless Adams knows magic and can take a decade off Rodgers age/abilities, it doesn't change a thing. Buff was missing key players on Def last night and still beat them, with no-name WRs.  This move certainly doesn't make the Jets better than KC, Hou, or Balt.  It reeks of desperation...

Little late with 4 losses already to make this trade, no?

The Jets are adding another weapon? According to many here, a good QB doesn't need weapons. Guess it's just a coincidence that the Giants lose their best weapon and the QB has a bad game.

Jones has weapons so I'm confused why that would have any thing in common to do with a Jets pr move to get the firing stupidity out of the headlines.

The game before, without the same weapon, was his best game of the season.  It's not the weapons it's the QB.  He's bad at football.  Great guy, nice fella, bad at NFL football.

Also more to the point of this thread, WR was not the problem with the Jets.  In fact, the problem with the Jets is similar to the problem with the Giants in that the QB is not playing like a high level QB.  They can surround him with all the weapons in the world and Rodgers at 41 post Achilles is going to be bad and Jones has always been bad.  Nothing is gonna change that.
