Why do I feel dirty like I just left a P. Diddy party? This is painful to be a giant fan. It's also painful that I have to keep paying for the NFL package every year since I live in Los Angeles to watch the Giants paying good money for this crap.

The word "hapless" comes to mind. The team reminds of some of the piss poor mid-60's and early 70's teams before Parcells, Young and Simms came in to change the culture.

The defense did not play well in the first half ? Yes or no? Three point a on the offense is pathetic

I dont know why many here keep debating this stuff.  Great QBs or good QBs on good teams make bad throws and get bailed out by their WRs, TEs and RBs.  The Giants problems are a team wide failure at this point.  Bad QB play, bad drops, bad blocks, bad calls, bad schemes.

Does an NFL game consist of 2 qtrs? They gave up 14 points in the first half; so, it wasn't a strong performance at all.  I'm bullish on the defense, but I can acknowledge when they don't play well.  We have an excellent secondary and good pass-rush, but we continue to struggle against the run; the Eagles took advantage of the latter.  As I said before, this one poor performance doesn't bother me as it happens to every team, even the 85 Bears.  The Defense will be fine going forward, but we need to address the run defense in the off season.

Reading comprehension is key; I never compared the NY Giants to the 85 Bears.  What I explicitly stated is it's ill-advised to form an opinion based on one bad game.  The defenses performance against Phili doesn't negate their other 5 good games, which was my point.  I'm surprised I had to spell it out... 

It's still kinda weird . Any kind of if 85 bears comparison is kinda weird .

And like I would not consider losing to a legend of the game QB anything like like "having a bad game"

Yep bad QB mixed with a couple WR's with shaky hands we go round and round about who to blame. Jones is bad and some of the drops are on him, Slayton and Wandale have also dropped some absolutely perfect passes. Nabers with two crucial drops this year. It's just total hell right now on offense.

All of this is on Mara. His wanting to pay Jones. You can't tell me that Daboll and Schoen both coming from  outside the organization had Jones rated highly coming out of that QB factory(Dave Brown) . Poor kid we effed him up says Mara not thinking about the short/long term consequences for his team that he says he loves. Not like we do though where winning is everything. They are winning though, in the past ten years the value of the Giants has increased from $2 Billion to just over $7 Billion. Imagine having a business that consistently(since 1965 their regular season record is 50-55 games under .500) puts out an inferior product yet increases in value threefold.

To piggyback on my own post. Imagine performing under a just mediocre/acceptable level at your job and getting paid $40 Million to grossly underperform. I'm aware that I stated the same thing twice in one sentence, but it does bear repeating.
