Yikes. Add in the play when he chose not to run out of bounds in hurry up mode with 45 seconds left and no time outs. Not only poorly conditioned but poorly trained.

Serves the Colts right for drafting the kid in the first place. He was horribly inaccurate in college. I believe he was drafted because he's a great athlete.

It's not what you want to hear as a Colts fan, but at least he faced the music and told the truth. Some players would have lied in that spot.

I will give him credit for honesty, but frankly I have never heard of a QB suffering from exhaustion in game, even the running QBs.

He's the most physically fit and gifted athlete in the league. He felt he would have hurt the team at that point. Probably should have called a timeout. But I didn't watch the game or the film leading up to it. Did anyone here?

I watched ESPN this morning and they said he could have just called or audibled into 2 running plays so he didn't have run around like crazy again.

He's completing 44% of his passes. I imagine there are more than a few Colts fans who would like to see him sub himself out a little more often.
