After tonight?

Two incompetent people at the two most important position.

Trench

Our punt returners consistently catch balls they should let bounce and consistently go near a ball (which has bounced!)

A small part of the head coach not able to teach the game to them

Jones should be benched ... Daboll should be given a season with a new rookie QB

What has Daboll ever done to give you confidence in his coaching ability? He rode hitched his wagon on Jones - now he deserves his fate.

Daboll sounds deflated and knows he is cooked

Benched for who? How about benching the GM for once again going into this season without depth at either tackle position? Hubbard was terrible - many times his man went totally untouched. Leaving Eleumenor alone with Watt with no help was ridiculous. Jones was hit after virtually every pass.

But go ahead - keep on believing another QB will do much better under those conditions. It's easy to blame the QB. Real easy.

He is a problem. Not the biggest. But certainly up there.

No coach in NFL history can make as much juice as Daboll has done with Jones, unfortunately the fruit is now spoiled and its poisoning the team.

We are the lowest scoring team in the NFL except for Miami, however they have played 1 less game than we have.

If you don't want Belichick, what about Vrabel, Ben Johnson, or even Pete Carroll to right this ship that has been slowly sinking for quite a while and we don't have a big enough bucket to bail us out.

Do you envision Daboll coming up big EVER in a tough coaching spot in the future with anyone other than Daniel Jones as a QB?

I don't.

We've been down this road before recently.

I've read this book. I know how it ends.

Yes and no respectively for me. Daboll is not impressing but an offensive minded HC deserves at least one year with a QB of his choosing before final judgement IMO. Jones is not all the problem but he is quite a lot of it.

There's about 15 coaches in the league who would make jones a better player.

Daboll resume consists of one to g - coaching Josh Allen. Who now is playing better without Daboll.

The Giants are 2-6 (or worse) at the midpoint of the season for the 7th time in the last 8 seasons, under 4 different head coaches and 3 different GMs.

Seems like an entire organizational change is needed.

Last night showed you how Jones make crucial mistakes in key situations with his decision making (failure to check the te) that are inexcusable.

He doesn't have the sense, the intuitive skills like a letting a back shoulder throw go before the receiver breaks to make. He's clumsy. Yeah, his line has been bad for years; but when given opportunities, he fails. Constantly, and consistently at home and in prime time

If Daboll had a Josh Allen, this team would be radically different and be in the hunt for the playoffs. Jones can't do it. It's over for him.

Daboll may get a chance to get his own guy..but still a long way to go with 9 games left. I don't think Mara wants to start over again, but we're getting near the red line with him and Schoen.
