Daboll is not THE problem, but after today he is A problem for me.
Smell my cheese you mother!

I watched like 3 total minutes of this game today in the third qtr, i watched a Giants drive and a commanders drive that out them up 24-10 and turned it off. So I can't speak too much on this game aside from what little I saw.

Happy to hear what happened, or I am going through posts here and there. Worst case I'll read up on it. But I cannot speak for much of anything on this weeks game

1. Inability to utilize the TE for SEVERAL weeks into the season.

2. Punt and kickoff returners continuously running towards the ball AFTER it has bounced!

3. Odd play calling

4. Not keeping a guy in the game after a big gain (Tracy)

5. 2 point conversion offense

6. Odd behavior regarding Banks discipline

7. No answer regarding Evan Neal

8. Getting away from what works (RB screens in 1st half of games) and abandoning it in 2nd half

9. Clock management

10. Inability to get jones to next level
I'll agree with 3, 5, 8, & 9.

1) We don't know what plays are called for TE as the prime target and what happens on those plays.

2) That's on the ST coordinator

4) He's just coming off a concussion and Singletary was getting good chunks as well. Maybe Tracy was feeling some effects of the hits.

6) Not sure what the odd behavior is you're talking about.

7) He doesn't owe us an answer. I mentioned it before; if Neal was to get a shot at LT (or RT), Bricillo would have to be OK with it.

10) There is no "next level" for Jones.

I'll just comment on point 2.  Yes the ST has responsibility, but the HC is the overseer of everything on the team, and maybe if he wasn't playing at OC he could exercise more supervision over the STs.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

Not slowing my roll

I can respect some of these even if i disagree with some (based on prior to this game which I didn't watch) besides 10, Jones has nothing left untapped for there to be another level.

Very true, and I agree.

At the very least, he should be spending time with all three coordinators. I really feel he's more focused on the offense than the team as a whole.

Defense no sacks today ?     Leading league in sacks 0 today is factor in the loss

I can't accept it's on special teams coordinator (when it is CONSISTENTLY happening) which is my issue. For instance when Tiki was fumbling, the head coach took it upon himself to fix it (not the RB coach) type deal.

Regarding Banks, the odd behavior I speak of is Dabs being so tight lipped on his behavior. I just find it a bit odd. He gets benched and nobody knows why etc...perhaps "odd" is the wrong word. Frustration is better

Regarding Tracy and the concussion perhaps you're right. However historically Dabs likes to pull a player after a big play instead of doing the Secretait "let 'em run and ride the hot hand"

Regarding Neal, we can agree to disagree. I believe as a 1st round pick the fan base does deserve an answer. It can be as simple as "he's making progress" or "we are moving in the right direction" type thing

Regarding Jones, yup there is no next level!

Daboll post game presser he was asked why the kickers keep getting hurt and he clearly wasn't thrilled with the question.

We should add "timeout management" to the equation
This is tough stuff this Giants team.

I don't think Jones will be gone too

I think giants fan are afraid to call out Daboll because they've blamed everything on Jones.

It's been apparent for awhile both are major major problems.

This is where I am.

Jclayton92

Daboll runs a pass first offense and he's only been able to do the opposite since he got here and that's not because of the weapons or line this season even with AT out.

I've read threads all season. And social media. Jumping on board now doesn't negate how bad he has been all year.

That's not what you said though.

For some, it's a chicken or egg scenario. Daboll got Jones a new contract by severely dialing back the offensive plays to cater to what Jones can and can't do. Unfortunately, that success was short-lived as teams adjust quickly. The book on Jones has been out for years and it still applies.

Expecting Daboll to design a similar game plan to 2022 is not going to catch anyone off-guard.

I'm pretty confident that the QB is holding the team back, not the coach. If I could only get rid of one, I think everyone knows which one is gone.

If you had to keep one, who would it be?
