Its just maddening. I have little confidence that this team can make a third and long stop.

Another example of fans clamoring for something, then when they get it, complaining that they got what they ask for.

How long have we heard that the Giants were behind with the times? That Gettleman and the Giants ignored analytics to their own peril?

I get that it's a new concept, but it's univerally accepted by forward thinking teams that the analytics play when down 14 and you score is to go for 2. It is absolutely the norm now (again, for those teams that adopt the analytics mindset).

You want to question the play call, the execution, that's another story. But analytics say going for 2 is absolutely the right call.

Iron sharpens iron but I think the offense is dulling the defense weekly.

Does analytics take into account that the Giants suck ass at 2-pt conversions? They're at the bottom, if not the worst at RZ TD percentage. That has to be factored in.

Analytics take your ability to actually make the 2 point conversion into account ? Because they are not good at it.
To me the analytics should say ...your success rate of making it is poor don't do it.
No wait that is what coach is for..

So Jones hasn't been horrible today, so who takes the blame after this loss? The D has been bad so they are the likely suspects. Daboll continues not to inspire much confidence but I doubt he gets canned.  I guess we just have to continue to ride out the mediocrity and hope that this franchise eventually turns it around.

Something tells me this game won't come down to the decision of whether to go for one or two after the Jones TD run.

So I wouldn't worry about it too much.
