Quote from: sxdxca38 on November 03, 2024, 03:42:00 PMDaniel Jones is 20/26 176 yards 2 TD 0 Int 119 RTG

Plus an additional 57 yards rushing.

Would you agree that there are bigger problems with the team not winning than him?

There are other problems. None are bigger than the QB. He's not a difference maker at the position.

DJ was decent today. When he had time he was throwing lasers. Should have 3 TD passes. That said he's still a bad QB and needs to go.

Quote from: sxdxca38 on November 03, 2024, 03:46:17 PMThat's because the coach ran something like 13 runs in a row

So then, where should we rank him as far as QB in the NFC East?

Stats are only available when he plays well.

Jones played pretty good today.   Not great.     Defense was awful and coaching was the ultimate factor that didn't allow his team to be in a position to tie game late.

The same thing it said before they failed to execute. That when down 14, you go for 2.

Every smart team does it. Every single one.

Like I said, you want to question the play call or the execution, sure. But the decision to go for it was the correct one and is backed up by every smart GM and coach in the league.

Quote from: Trench on November 03, 2024, 03:44:25 PMHonestly the stats are ok but the intangibles (converting on 2 point) type stuff is not. I sincerely believe he is a wonderful backup QB. I do not say this with disregard for his efforts today or any day. It's just what I believe is.

I wonder what the analytics say about a bad aura. Because the aura around the Sardine Can, apart from the usual stink in the air around North Jersey, is pretty rotten right now.

Game over, thank God!

Personally I didn't see lasers. I did see balls nicely thrown which were also telegraphed (or took time to arrive). Lasers I didn't see

Through all these bad years over the last decade or so, we were generally never much worse than the Skins/Commanders.

We are now clearly worse. Indisputably the worst team in the division. This is rock bottom for this franchise.

This is the problem I have with folks like you, Todge, and Rich: you all want people to acknowledge that it's not JUST Jones but you aren't willing to acknowledge that Jones is THE BIGGEST ISSUE.

I've already asked three different times and your fingers just can't type the words: Jones is the worst QB in the division.

Tim,

I already answered your question, I ranked him 4th in the division.

Would you be willing to admit that the defense was the main problem today?

That the call back of another one of his passing TDs, and the missed opportunity's going for two point conversions also contributed to the loss.

Trench

The offense pass interference against Slayton was huge

My post from October 28th, last weeks game

Daniel Jones 11/16 141 yards 96 RTG

Go see for yourself.

Where were you to call out the defense this week?

How about another called back passing TD for DJ because of a penalty, that's about five this year.

May I ask why aren't you addressing these problems with the team?

And the other weeks?

If you cherry pick you lose whatever credibility you had.
