Quote from: DaveBrown74 on November 03, 2024, 03:51:55 PMThrough all these bad years over the last decade or so, we were generally never much worse than the Skins/Commanders.

We are now clearly worse. Indisputably the worst team in the division. This is rock bottom for this franchise.
Imagine if the Giants lost those meaningless games last year.

Daniel Jones 11/16 141 yards 96 RTG

Go see for yourself.

Where were you to call out the defense this week?

How about another called back passing TD for DJ because of a penalty, that's about five this year.

May I ask why aren't you addressing these problems with the team?

That was from the first Half; you completely disappeared when his stats went South, which is something you do that detracts from your reputation.

To answer your question, I NEVER base an opinion on a single game. I realize football is not linear; I prefer the more macro perspective.  The Giants have two primary issues: 1. Inconsistent QB play and 2: A persistent inability to stop the run.

Then we'd have turned Daniels to crap most likely.
Smell my cheese you mother!

Quote from: Stringer Bell on November 03, 2024, 03:49:27 PMThe same thing it said before they failed to execute. That when down 14, you go for 2.

Every smart team does it. Every single one.

Like I said, you want to question the play call or the execution, sure. But the decision to go for it was the correct one and is backed up by every smart GM and coach in the league.
Giants are not smart or successful. The coach should work with team mental state of his team ...by that he should not not getting the two would deflate the team. The hell with analytics.  Why not use them for everything ..,,, call plays defense etc . ?

I did call out the defense and you even responded to it.

The BS call on Slayton was just that.

I've called out plenty aspects of the team. You just don't haven't seen them given all the time you spend defending DJ and deflecting from his faults.

But now that you've acknowledged that he's the worst QB in the division, how can you expect this team to win with him if he can't even outplay a rookie?

If you cherry pick you lose whatever credibility you had.

Daniel Jones posted a 119 RTG 2 TD 0 Int

With another 57 yards rushing.

Will you admit that there are bigger issues here on why the team is losing than just the QB?

Nope. He lost. There were numerous times he didn't make a play. He is exactly what we hear in pre season practices from the beat writers: it's either hot or cold

Because that rookie is phenomenal, he is elite and will be better than DJ.

Most QBs will not be as good as Jayden in a few years from now.

The Giants will need to be elite in other areas to be able to compete.

Honestly I have no answers for this as it doesn't look good

No, he is the biggest issue by a mile

Will you admit you cherry pick the weeks you choose to post about stats?

He was not the reason they lost today.    Defense and coaching was the main reasons they today

But they have an Elite QB that can match up with Daniels?  /sarcasm/

No he didn't lose, the Giants as a "team" lost, it's a team game.

Their 53 players outplayed the Giants 53, remember this isn't tennis.

Start putting the blame where it should be on the defense

Why would I blame 11 players when its a 53 man TEAM?

Go on please explain

A QB who posted a 119 RTG threw 3 TDs one was called back, 0 interceptions, 54 yards rushing and he is the biggest issue?

Im gonna take a walk now, but ill let you cogitate on that.
