I'm not wanting to come across as an old "get off my lawn" type curmudgeon,  but Nabers worried me today.
He seemed to be wanting to get into a pissing contest with his old college buddy on the opposite sideline and he had a F-ing ludicrous first down celebration when we were two scores down.
Maybe this is motivated by my complete and total pissed-off-ness at yet another xxxx-show, but I'm thinking "wind your neck in lad".

You are right. There is no acceptable reason for him to be so chatty with his friend in the heat of battle

He's clearly our best offensive player. How about we worry about all the other stiffs who bring next to nothing to the table.

Oh God for sure.
But something about his behaviour today.....just a worry.
I'm not saying he's the second coming of "Yung Joka" just that he looked a bit non-pro today, which concerned me a bit.

Here we go again. Oh great lets drive another start offensive weapon out of town.

This is why we can't have nice things!

Totally not the point.

For 60 minutes, his only friends wear the same uniform. He can chat it up, exchange jerseys, and grab a burger and beer with Daniels AFTER the game.

I agree but I sense a trend here and it building up to the same stuff that lead Giants fans to drive OBJ out of town. Nabors is not the problem!

I didn't get that tone from the OP or any subsequent post. It's a legit gripe, IMHO but offering criticism about a young player doesn't equate to wanting to get rid of him. This is far from Yung Joka territory.

After the game, first-round rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers spoke with reporters, and he talked about the Giants' future amid what appears to be another lost season.

"Malik Nabers said he'd rather build something from the ground up because 'it feels better when you come from the mud and you start winning successfully,'" New York Daily News beat reporter Pat Leonard relayed on X.

"Asked if the Giants can do that here," Leonard continued, "Nabers said: 'Yeah, you've just got to build. You've got to build up. You've got to put the right people in place to be successful. You've got to get the right keys. You've got to get the right guys on the team to win."

"Obviously, the Commanders have done that," Nabers added (via Leonard). "They've got the right guys that they want to be on the team, and they're winning."

What's the controversy???

Not everyone is coked up LT wanting to kill the opposition. Nabers can chat up the opposition, perform at a high level, and still be a superstar.

As long as he does his job, what exactly are we talking about?

If you don't want to come off as a curmudgeon, don't make a mountain out if a molehill.

Not my intention.....not by a long way.
It's always been a bugbear of mine, an elaborate celebration when the team's in a hole.
Hopefully the lad just got caught up in the head to head with his buddy and it's nothing more than thar.
