Come on man. You can't compare the sports business with the real world. Besides McCloud IS taking a pay cut. PS players make far less than what the Giants were going to pay him.

That seems to be the way a lot of veterans join teams in-season these days.  Teams sign them to the PS, give them a few weeks to learn their system and then start activating them or signing them to their active roster
