had a biopsy ang got the results last week. In spite of so many tests I had this year none of which ever showed anything I have small cell cancer all over my spine. If I go and get chemo might get 2 years but Id be so sick the whole time I said no to that. So I have 3 to 9 months, I think itll be less.
When I found out I told the Drake and he and his other half arrived here from their home in Indiana the next afternoon so there here helping me out.
You know Ive been telling my Doctors how much my backs been hurting and none of them would give me pain meds. Now Im terminal they loaded me up with Morphine and Hydromorphone enough to take out both the offensive and defensive lines of the Giants. unfortunately I haven't been able to completely knock out the pain but Im back to the doctor on Wednesday.
I want to thank you all for all the friendship and fun over the years. I wish you all the best and maybe we will all meet up for a barbq some day!
Yall take care now, here?

I think back to the good times we had in Albany at camp and a Get Together that I recall you planned. I met Whales for the first time at that one. The times we talked and the special effort you gave for our troops.

Our minds may not meet again in this lifetime, but I want you to know that I appreciate you for who you are as a truly unique person. You're a good man, John Woessner.

Godspeed...

I am so sorry to hear this news. Truly. We have know each other, over the years, for quite a long time and like some others loved the time I finally got to meet you in person
Gosh I can still see and taste that fish you brought to our BBQ.
I remember our on line posts about the Golden Hoofer, Gabe's. Good times.

If we don't meet again in this lifetime I will make it a point to contact you in the next.

You will be in my prayers.

God bless you.

Dammit Weeze you old curmudgeon, this news hits hard. I am so very sorry to hear of your struggles, but I'm happy to hear Drake and his Mrs. are able to be with you now, I know you're both very close. May you find the strength to face this latest challenge head on. You are in my prayers.

I'm sure you have explored things about this illness. I was having lunch with a friend today and happened to mention you and the doctor's report. My friend is also a cancer survivor and he said to me that I should tell you to jump on the first plane to NY and see other doctors. NY has some of the world's best doctors, especially at Sloan Kettering and other world-famous hospitals. Maybe someone can help when others think all is lost. I don't know, but I have heard many stories of people who were told to sort of get their affairs in order and they outlive the prognosis.
I don't know if this is possible, but I look at it as what have you got to lose. Please try and explore all options if there are any, but NY is the place for things like this.

They are taking care of all my needs and everything I couls possibly wish for, boy they impressed me. we talked about all this stuff from 10 to 1140 yesterday morning and the bed arrived at 3 pm. As you know, we all think very highly of you, for so many reasons.

Hi John. I was saddened to hear about all the struggles you have encountered leading up to your decision to let the disease take its course. I have a close friend who's mother receive the kind of great hospice care that you described. I am glad to read that you are in such good hands.  I hope that whatever number of days you have remaining will bring you great comfort and a sense of how much your life has meant to many people.
