he NFL has flexed a "Thursday Night Football" game for the first time in league history.

On Friday, the NFL announced that the Week 16 game between the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers has been flexed to "Thursday Night Football" on Amazon. The Chargers were originally scheduled to host their division rival on Sunday, Dec. 22. The Cincinnati Bengals were originally scheduled to host the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, Dec. 19 on Prime Video, but that game has been moved to Sunday.

As Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated noted, the Broncos had to agree to the flex since it will be their second Thursday night road game of the season. They face the Bengals in Week 17, which could explain why they were in favor of the swap. Cincinnati would have initially been given extra time to prepare for Denver, but the two teams have traded spots.

I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

Welp, that is going to screw over away fans planning on attending who took time off from work and made reservations

My first thought when I saw this.  It's one thing to flex from afternoon to evening.  Totally different to do it from Sunday to Thursday

So nice for Mara to have a big heart for those traveling fans of our opponents who keep managing to easily get tickets to our home games. He is banking on their wallets to keep the concession stands busy. If you are a season ticket holder or a local fan of the home team it shouldn't matter if TNF is now Sunday at 1. Most STH would rejoice.

As a former STH, I would buy Put Options to protect the price fall. Lol
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."
