I believe I'm the only poster that was never high on Daboll, even during his COY season.  As I stated two years ago, he's still the same coach that was fired 3x for producing the NFL's #32, 30, 29 and 23rd ranked offenses, which doesn't include his Giants tenure.  Like Kafka, he mysteriously became a "hot coach" when paired with an AP QB.  Despite being consistent with my musings, I still believe he should get another year with a new QB.

As it should be...everyone is frustrated, and the young players from the SEC and Big 10 aren't use to losing on this level.

Look, I'm the only poster on this board who never bought into the notion that Dabs was a good coach who "fixed" DJ; I have been consistent in my view for his entire tenure. Yet, I still believe the Giants are better off to retain him for one more season, vice hiring our 5th coach in 10 years.   

If they do fire him, I won't lose ANY sleep.  I prefer Mike V over Dabs; however, this isn't a new revelation for me...

I think you almost have to, Matt; obviously, there's a scenario where the Giants just eat the second year. Fundamentally, I think Dabs' future will be based on information we're not privy to, which is something @T200 has discussed ad nauseam. How much influence did Mara exert on his HC and GM to retain DJ?
