As of right now, if the draft were today, Hunter would be the number one pick. It's a shame that Colorado is out of the playoffs. Not sure if it will help or hurt Shedeur.

Dart and Milroe killed their stock. Beck came back strong lately and he's the perfect Mara type. I still lack confidence in him.

The Giants desperately need a QB. The purpose of keeping Dabol would be to develop that young QB. They will take a long hard look at Cam Ward.

I need more time to make that decision. But unless they work out a trade for Lawrence or Richardson I don't see them passing on a QB. The Pittsburgh QBs would be a placeholder and a low ceiling. Cousins is a placeholder too.

They screwed up bigtime by passing on JJ and Nix.

Ha Ha I didnt want to write that but 100% agree.

We should look at how Drew Allar finishes. He may wind up being something unexpected. There are several second tier QBs that could be worth moving up for from their second pick and that would free them up to draft a Travis Hunter.

Of course, there could be Tommy Cutlets! Don't laugh. Not with this organization.

Banks is completely lost...never had ball skills...just a guy..and Thibs vanishes more often then not. Throw Neal in rhe mix..Wan Dale .just okay Schmitz.PFFT..some huge misses the first two drafts.. Jalin Hyatt too, who they traded up for btw..

So what gives you any confidence fans they can get the qb right?

I'd love to have Cousins here next year as a stop gap. Same as when we had Kurt Warner.

Exactly, trade back to 3 and get a haul and still likely end up with Hunter because the other 2 teams go Qb.

Cousins has a very expensive contract. To make him a Giant, we'd need to give Atlanta draft capital and then take on that contract. It would be a big investment in a player in his twilight years.

If we have the number one overall, I say trade down if possible to stay in the top five, stockpile picks and put ourselves in a position to trade up for our franchise QB in [emoji[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]][emoji[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]]][emoji[emoji[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]]][emoji[emoji[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]]][emoji[emoji[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]]]]].

Sign a bridge QB or take a flyer on Justin Fields for next season and let's see what happens with a second consecutive strong draft class.
From Simms to Eli (with an assist from Hoss) our Super Bowl Quarterbacks. Great defense and clutch QB performances...NY Giants Championship football.

I have an old profile still floating around: andrew_nyg....I am one and the same!

Is Hunter the best WR in the college? Is Hunter the best CB in college? I think Hunter gets a bump from playing both ways but I don't think he is the best WR or CB in college. I'd pass on him at pick #1
Ain't nothing to it but to do it!

No one player, outside of a franchise quarterback, is going to change the fortunes of this franchise. For all his talents I don't think Hunter is a good fit. He's a country boy who loves to hunt and fish. The metro NYC area isn't particularly interesting for a guy like that. If they have the first pick and they don't value a quarterback there (I completely disagree that there is no quarterback worth of the top pick) than I hope they trade down and accumulate multiple picks like the Bears did a couple years ago.

A bad fit because of hunting and fishing?  The Giants have selected plenty of "country boys" who have been successful.

How much hunting and fishing is he going to be free to do from July to January?

He has said he doesn't want to live in an urban area, but that is neither here nor there. The Giants aren't going to use the first pick on a guy who isn't an elite route runner or the best cornerback in the draft even if he's the best athlete. I'd rather drop to 4th and take Will Johnson or even lower and take Tre Harris while picking up additional first and second round picks. He's got a lot of hype but he isn't the guy who changes the trajectory of this franchise.

Forget A franchise QB  This team better draft some Defensive linemen
