the entire team is not putting in an effort.  Moving on from Jones was a cue to them that the season was over.  They have to field a team next year and they have salary cap implications that make it impossible to cut all these guys.


Please take the emotion out of a ugly effortless loss when the season was already over.

If you want the #1 pick this is what you kind of have to suffer through (these types of performances). They now have a $40MM handicap in every game as well. So buckle up.

Ok ....i agree with the Jones decision...but there was no spark today with a different QB...
The defense is awful....the oline is worse than the defense....
We have to give a New QB a few games to see if it makes a difference.....but after two weeks of the team got their butts kicked ...but if the Giants think all will be fine with a new QB next year they are kidding themselves...this team has one really bad problem that makes it nearly impossible them to win more games .....that is the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball..
The o line was getting manhandled all the Giants lineman ended up on their backs most of day.

This is team is not playing hard for Daboll and that is bottom line .
He must go to give the New QB next year a new atmosphere and staff to work with.

Divitos only success came on check downs and short passes and runs to keep drives alive....
No different than Jones except the paycheck

I'll wait for the season to end before I make any conclusions about the post-Jones Giants.

I do not believe for one minute that Mara wants to lose games for a high draft pick...does any team tank for high pick ? maybe
But I don't think Mara wants to and I would hope there is more pride in players to play hard and not lay down.."I really don't think teams can turn it on and off when they want to.
If this keeps up and the stadium is empty the feast of the way. Something has to change.
Daboll has play his hand with the Benching of Jones.

It's all on him now to make this team play at every position and more important play calling for the talent on this team and not for the QB he wants to have...but for the QB he has now.

I'm ok with what I saw from Devito. The 70 yard opening drive never allowed us to get in the game. Especially when the Bucs punched us in the mouth and we faltered.

He had some zip on the back and made adjustments. I'm actually most annoyed with his final 2 throws way high in end zone but I was happy we at least threw to the end zone.

Losing his (2) best Olinemen, he played good enough for me. Let's see how he does Thursday. He took a beating and didn't quit. Again let's hope he will be a proven backup

I agree with most of this but how can any QB on this be able to succeed with a team that looks like they know what is going on from management...
If this team really thought their best chance to win a game coming out of bye was to cut starting QB and put in the backup ? Then i question the coaching staff again ..could have Jones situation been handled differently with same Jones outcome (release him) after the season?
But doing it now it says to me Daboll
Thought he could win some games with a new QB.
Time will tell ... more games to go.
But watching his press conference now same stuff different week.
Not good enough they played well and it's on me. Week after week.
Jones or no Jones says much about his team ...not good enough.
He needs to go!

 After the game, they switched to the Carolina/KC game. The first thing I noticed was Carolina was playing with loads of passion. What are they 1 win up on us, yet they played like it was a game for the playoffs? In our game, all I can say is we showed up, well some of the players did. I don't think I even heard Lawrence name mentioned once. Has he thrown in the towel also?

Thankfully, my daughter had a game in Philadelphia at 2, so I couldnt watch.  Listened to the first half and turned it off.
