This is the Giants record over the last almost 13 seasons.  One that will be a little worse after the last six games.  Even with a new regime they start with hope and on year three it's a disaster.  They have built nothing.

As far as the last decade goes, they are one of the most inept teams in all of American professional sports.

And there is absolutely no reason to believe that better times are on the near term horizon.

 I, and many others, have lived thru what is known as the 'Wilderness Years' ( mod 1960s-1981), where we had almost 17 years of terrible football. But, even thru some of those years, we had some false hope that things were getting better (the Tarkington years). In my life, I always prayed we would never see something like that again. In those days there was no free agency. You were bad until you were able to draft enough good players to make a better team. In today's game, with FA and the draft, we have seen countless teams go from terrible to pretty good overnight. It is really staggering to look at the Giants and see us in Wilderness Years II. I think about this constantly and just really think how inept this team and front office are, in this modern era where we get continually worse every year instead of better.
How is this possible?
