The whole thread is disturbing. Very rare to hear a rookie talk like this. But he's really calling out Daboll here.

Couldn't agree more. Would he have ever used that sort of tone or language if TC or even BB were the coach?

We need some serious discipline here and Daboll can't bring that.

Tim - to our back n forth about Nabers/Dabs in game thread, I wonder if Nabers was open but Devito didn't get him the ball - or did Dabs not call plays for him for the 1st 10 plays?...if it's the latter, perhaps it's his frustration talking.

The kid should shut his mouth and show some respect though.

Does Nabors think his getting more targets would have made our defense less of a compete sieve than it was all afternoon?

I appreciate he is frustrated, but I would prefer that his frustration be more about the overall collective poor play in all three phases and not his own personal situation and stats. But I get that maybe I'm being unrealistic. That attitude kind of goes with the position.

I don't suspect that he would be happy when he's running route after route after route and not getting the ball.

He needs to understand that he's not the only receiver on the team or the only option on offense.

I'm not suggesting Daboll called a great game but what the defense is doing has to be taken in consideration when calling plays.

Calling out the coach is not a good look. That's what I call a resume'-generating event.

This is not on Nabers, it's on Daboll.

In leadership as well as child rearing how you start is how you finish. The idea that Dabs set the tone that it was ok for his players to address him as anything but Coach or Sir is on him.

Is Nabers out of line? Sure he is. But if he was made to feel as though he was on the same level as the coaching staff, that could be indicative of a lack of leadership throughout the roster and staff.

Again, to Rich's point a losing culture.

It's quite obvious Nabers is a prima Donna like so many of today's players. His desire to compete is admirable. I was first on line to toss Odell to the wolves so I'm trying to remain calm on this kid.

He isn't helping though
