The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

Classic show. One of my all-time favorites!

I don't belong to Facebook so I couldn't open the link, That said, I used to watch the Beverly Hillbillies faithfully, from the very first episode until it really became silly, or should I say stupid. The humor of it kind of wore off and the novelty of it was, to me anyway, ponderous. The joke was played out and like most good comedies it wore out its welcome. BUT, it was classic in its time.

Semi-related - A couple nights ago I watched an episode of The Andy Griffith Show, and the guest star was Buddy Ebsen, (Jed Clampett).

I love those pot passers. I got one myself. I often wished I was Ellie May's boyfriend.

I had a similar reaction seeing Eddie Albert (aka NYC Lawyer, Oliver Wendell Douglas in "Green Acres") when watching "Roman Holiday", along with Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn (one of my favorite movies)...and it was shocking to see him as a very young man (I would have been a 1-year-old baby when the movie was released). Eddie played Peck's sidekick photographer. It's amusing to see someone you have only seen as an elderly person, and then stumble onto a flick when they were 20-yrs-old or so

Another interesting cast member on the Beverly Hillbillies, was Sharon Tate (murder victim of Charles Manson fame). She played the secretary to Jane Hathaway and the love interest of Jethro, which always threw Jane into a fit. The story goes, Sharon Tate was made for the movies, but wasn't trained in acting, so they put her into a role in the Beverly Hillbillies to help her get her feet wet in front of a camera. She was murdered in 1969, the Beverly Hillbillies ran until 1971

I saw a very young Robert Redford in an old Perry Mason episode. He played a spoiled son of a rich couple. His acting wasn't very good.

Gosh, watch many of the Twilight Zone episodes and you will see so many actors and actresses who were e nobodies then and went on to become stars.

You're right...holy cow. My favorites are Robert Duvall, Leonard Nemoy, Telly Savalas, and Peter Falk. I wouldn't recognize them if I was watching the Twilight Zone...especially Duvall and Savalas
