Schoen might not be around to make that selection especially if the Giants end their season 2-15. The fans would go ballistic if Daboll and Schoen were retained especially after they  made probably the worst blunder in Giant's history- paying Daniel Jones $40 million and not retaining Saquon Barkly .

I'm sure every team that had Deion is very glad he played for them with no regrets. I think the sideshow comments are way overrated.

You don't overlook talent, let alone at the greatest and most important position in sports.

Even if he was a sideshow, if he turns the team around and wins, who cares. Look how the team went downhill after trading Beckham.

But seriously, the sideshow comments are so blown out of proportion. If he was in the 2024 draft he would have been one lf tbe first 3 QBs selected his talent is there with Caleb and Daniels.

Have you met Shedeur Sanders? Apart from the shoving incident, why do you think he's such a bad guy? If memory serves (correct me if I'm wrong obviously) you were making statements like this before the shoving incident too, so I'm curious why you think he's such a bad character.

As for his father, last I checked he has a full time job during the fall, some 1700 miles away. If he makes some comments on social media or in a podcast interview, is that really a reason to not draft the best QB in this class when we desperately need a QB?

Giants QB room is empty now. They blew it in 2024 and now have absolutely no choice. Today, even without training camp, Sanders and Ward are better than what the Giants can put on the field.

Deion Sanders is probably one of the top 10 NFL players of all time. He is also now a successful college coach. Why anyone would consider him a "sideshow" is completely beyond me (actually not completely, I have my suspicions why). Anyway, the Giants are going to be picking high in the draft, probably 1 or 2, and they have to take a QB, either Ward or Sanders. They really have no other choice. It's their own doing and the result of their own stupidity that they'll be drafting this high, and desperately need a QB, this year.
