This, but then most here want to lose. But then get mad and frustrated at the losing.  Are we losing or winning cant have both

That's where I'm at. I hate losing but also tired of half measure seasons where they're just out of reach. Ultimately, I'm just as unfulfilled by a 2-win season as I am by a 5-win season.

The frustration is where the organization stands presently.  You're wanting them to go 2-15 but can also be upset that this franchise has become such a joke they can go 2-15.

I guess. I'm looking at it in the context of this season--I'd bet this score outperformed most estimates in the predictions thread. And I just personally don't care between a 2-win season and a 5-win season. The latter has the Giants pretending they're a few moves away from relevancy. The former gives you better draft positioning and few illusions, if any, about where you stack up.

The softspoken, darkly handsome man in the blue Giants tie sips his steaming Gevalia here at the BBS cafe, SEES ANOTHER TD, an spits on the floor...

The retired, one-legged cow-patty kicking legend of yesteryear, tips his sombrero to the dark, handsome, blue Giant tie wearing retired engineer, pours himself a hot cup from the Gevalia urn, and offers the tru blu fan a seat at the bar.

"Tis been ages since you've graced us with your presence, o tru blu fan," shouts the one-legged kicking legend. The tru blu fan, now puzzled, ponders what happened to the kicking legend's other leg. "T'was a flesh wound that got so bad my last kick ended up with my leg flying over the goalpost instead of the ball!" "I've now taken up the skill of being a one-legged man in an arse-kicking contest ... still defeated, mind ya!

The tru blu fan, so impressed that he completely forgot about the turkeys in Giants jerseys getting carved up for Thanksgiving dinner.

"Come back more often," said the kicking legend, "and I'll keep the urn hot for yards, me pal!"

Yep. The way this season is spiraling out of control, Mara can no longer pretend things just need to be tweaked. Jones is already gone so the scapegoat is gone. There is only one option - and that is to blow the whole thing up.

The best thing would be if Mara himself were to retire/step down.
