Nabers on his drops

Speaking of drops, we need veteran leadership like JJ Watt shows in this clip. I believe OBJ was hurt by lack of veteran leadership. Nabers may be in the same situation now. I don't think he needs tough love, just someone with credibility who can talk about standards.

Lamb is not excusing his drops.  Nabers is.  A vet on the team should sit him down and give him the riot act for that statement.

I assume then you believe after the 3 drops Lamb would tell his QB "please stop throwing the ball to me"

The mistake isn't Nabers. The mistake was taking a receiver before you had a QB. They should have drafted JJ or Penix or Nix. With Nabers they are 2-10 and need a QB next year. He does nothing for them until the QB is in place.

We drafted Daniel Jones and for 5 years people have been crying that he hasn't had any receivers.

Exactly! It's suck a poor attitude to avoid drafting a top receiver because your QB isn't that great. We once took Ike Hilliard 7th overall with Dave Brown as the incumbent QB. He desperately needed weapons too like Jones.
