No, you didn't. There were just two in BBH who urged the Giants to take Thomas ahead of the then three other highly-rated OTs. Ceri Dovey was one; modesty keeps the other unnamed.

Cheers!

There's a two part series on PBS of Leonardo da Vinci. I caught a portion of it today and recorded the rest. I believe you would appreciate it.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

The Giants, whomever and whatever that means to those, who don't otherwise supposes themselves to be -erroneously- should Draft whomever they decide to want it to be, as if and when successful, we know who'll gladly take credit whereas if not...who me? Not me! At no time, did I or Moses supposes our toes were roses at least not if it turns out to be erroneously.

Of course, someone did pick Michigan to beat Ohio State not at all erroneously

Cheers!

Ah yes! Leonardo da Vinci, the Disciple of Experience. I do appreciate your kind thought. Grazie.

Salute!

Since 2010 aside from Patrick Mahomes there has not been one QB drafted in the first round who has won a Super Bowl. Matbe Jared Goff can break that spell this year

Apart from Eli in 2011?

I also recorded that, and looking forward to watching it.

Quote from: Ed Vette on November 30, 2024, 12:33:01 PMThoughts on? Rourke, Howard, Allar, McCord, and Nussmeier?

Allar has some great physical tools.  Thought (probably more hoped)the USC game was going to be a turning point.  He looked determined in the 2nd half of that game like he wasn't going to let the team lose and took over.  Felt like Wisconsin game had some continuation but it died after that.

Not sure if i can describe it but he just looks like it doesn't come naturally to him.  Guess, I think he may be more of a project than others might.

Exactly. Also what about Stafford three years ago? He was taken first overall.

I think that comment was saying that starting with the 2010 draft no QB selected 1st overall has won a Super Bowl.  Not positive.

Mahomes was drafted 10th overall though. He simply said drafted in the first round.

Just making it to the super bowl is a major accomplishment.

Here are three more QB's who were drafted first overall that made it to the big dance.

A) Joe Burrow QB Bengals #1 pick 2020 draft

B) Jared Goff QB Rams #1 pick 2016 draft

C) Cam Newton QB Panthers #1 pick 2015 draft
