Once Milroe goes through the evaluation process he will rise and rise.

I expect him to go round one and potentially top 10.  I think he will be like Anthony Richardson

If you are evaluating the best of Dart you have to watch the highlights of two games.

Both in 2023, the LSU game, and the bowl Game vs Penn St. Both teams were ranked in the top 10 I believe when ole miss beat them. Believe he went for 400 yards and 5 tds in both games.

Watch that Penn St game, kid has the best back shoulder in college.

Right now, Dart would be a reach at 4-6.

Pretty sure he means top of the 2nd round. Or trading back into the late 1st round for him. Which at this point who cares, they're going to stink next year anyway why not roll the dice and see what comes up?

1500 rushing yards. Just as many as Milroe. Broke Eli Mannings passing record in 3 years. With a strong gator bowl then senior or East vs West bowl and he'll climb the boards. What impress me so much about Jaxson Dart is his arm angles and how calm he is in the pocket. A lot of quarterbacks when the pocket breaks down they will panic and their footwork becomes a mess. Dart doesn't panic at all. And his footwork in the pocket is very advanced and good compared to other quarterbacks in this draft.

Take Abdul Carter, Mason Graham or Will Johnson with the 1st round pick and then in the 2nd round or trade back up to the late 1st take Dart

I like Dart alot. I would not be opposed to bringing Lock back, bring Fields in to compete with him for 2025, and let him sit a year+, maybe even draft another guy in the mid to late rounds on top of that as well.

Wasn't Matt Corral a dark horse quarterback out of Ole Miss a couple years ago? Ole Miss quarterbacks are a lot like Mike Leach quarterbacks. I'd take a shot on Dart but not until the 4th round. At that point if he's a product of his system like Corral than it's not a big deal. IMHO before than the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I'd rather roll with McCord in the third round if we aren't going with Ward or Sanders.

I still have mixed reviews on him. I like him and as you said, it would pay to sit a year. He's not in a Pro-Style Offense, he tends to bird dog his first read and needs work on progressions. Under pressure he will bail the pocket and take off instead of just stepping up or moving within the pocket. Toss out two games and his stats come back down to earth. But he's a tough kid who's mobile and he looks downfield.

Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

I like Dart..he has skills..but has to elevate his awareness, speed of the NFL..and that's anyone's guess could he. Plenty of easy pitch and catch stuff won't be there on Sundays. Worth a shot? Perhaps. Maybe trade down if the Jints at 4..add picks..and draft a QB project like him..or Milroe..but they're going to be at the Eagles and fall further..so it may be a mute point.

Problem: Schoen will trade up for his QB and job leash. And Daboll is supposed to be the QB whisperer gets the door. Makes no sense. Agita.

He is having a really bad game so far. Halftime though

His highlights look good and I didn't see the wide open targets everyone says he gets to throw to. Intriguing later round pick.
Ain't nothing to it but to do it!

Not good...
At all.
I can't believe he ran away from the wide open hot read to take a sack on the Corner Blitz.

Have seen a lot of that around here recently, he'll fit right in!

To be fair it was just one game.  A poor game but one game nonetheless.  His potential is high...but his floor is low.  It's all projection.  He could turn out to be similar to Lamar Jackson with a couple years of development.  Or he could stink out loud.  It's just too early in his development to know for sure.  I wouldn't have considered him at #1 when there were two better options but since that ship has sailed I would consider him later in the 1st round or 2nd round if he's still around.  Athletes like him are rare.  He just needs to learn how to play the position.
