Atrocious for Arch? Awful for Arch?
Should the Giants and Jets wait on Arch Manning? Sources close to the Manning family told me it's likely going to be a long three-year wait. The nephew of
@EliManning
 and Peyton and grandson of Archie, will start for Texas as a redshirt sophomore in 2025. He has three years of eligibility left, which means the 2028 draft unless he decides he wants to play in the NFL earlier. He is eligible for the draft in 2026.
Money is not an issue in the NIL era. And his family is well off, giving him the luxury of staying in college.
I'm told he loves it at Texas and wants the full college experience like his uncles and grandfather had. Arch played well in a handful of starts when Quinn Ewers was injured this year and should have gotten more playing time. Maybe he will in the playoffs.
He looks like he's going to be a great player. He can throw it like the rest of his family and runs and is a great athlete like Archie.
Not to worry, Jets and Giants fans. By the time Manning is in the draft, your teams surely will be ready to move on from whoever is starting at QB the next few years.

His NIL is not a top 5 first round contract plus risk of injury.  Insurance covers for his value now but not say a 2nd contract value

If I were advising Arch, I'd advise him to stay for at least two more full seasons as well. There is absolutely no reason why he should come out at age 20 with only one full season of experience as a college starter.

Certainly isn't hurting for money I would guess

He doesn't need money, stay in school, get your degree, get some more experience to help you be more prepared later on, and oursue greatness like your family before you. Don't rush into it
