According to odds Schoen is due for a hit on an OL drafted on day 2

I've been watching Travis Hunter tape, interviews, and I have also beat the drum for a qb for 3+ years. Right now I'd be hard pressed to want the Giants to draft a qb over a generational talent like Hunter even if we have the 1st pick. The most humble kid, all he does is fish and play ball.

President Rick

hopefully he went to class since the college degree lasts forever and as we know the nfl is nfl [not for long].  no issues with your liking him though.  and there is no star nfl qb coming out this year IMO so  - given our many needs - we should trade down.

Peole dont understand how good he is.

Charles Woodson was a lockdown CB who occasionally played WR.  Hunter is a fulltime starting WR and CB.  Unheard of.

I remember Roy Green of tge St. Louis Cardinals started some on offensive and defensive.. Deion flashed on offense some..Darell Green too. But Hunter is extreme in his variety.

I'd draft Hunter, sign crazy-ass Winston, and draft a mid-tier QB like Dart. Excitement all around.

if he's that good..take him. you dont miss out on a generational talent over a qb who would be drafted in the 2nd round last year.

Where's @Bob In PA to rant about the mistake Schoen will make if he doesn't draft Hunter?

All I know is if Hunter can bring the very essence of "impact player," along the lines of Lawrence Taylor (or a modern-day Mel Hein?), to the Giants, then I will drop my pursuit of Kelvin Banks Jr. and jump on the bandwagon.

The Giants NEED impact players other teams MUST game-plan against. If Hunter is one of them, then put him on the short list as your guy. Admittedly, I need to watch more film on him to fully appreciate his skillsets.

Keep the discussion going! Let's hear more!

Peace!

Honestly, I'm tired of hearing that the Giants need playmakers that don't play the QB position.  It's all moot.  Doesn't matter.  I mean, isn't this what Nabers is?  Barkley was?  And we have 2 wins and very likely to end with exactly that number.

We need a QB.  We need a QB.  We need a QB.  Whether he's a vet or a rookie, if we don't go into next year with some semblance of HOPE at the QB position things are going to remain exactly as they've been.

Definitely a vet, Sanders is predicted number 1 overall despite being like the 15th-20th best prospect in this class.
