You're in a game thread. At the tail end of an embarrassing defeat to a QB our team passed on. Near the end of quite possibly the worst season in franchise history. And you using a minimally productive rookie class to justify bringing back a failed GM. There are no stars in this class beyond Nabers. There may be a couple starters. No different than what every failing franchise accomplishes with their draft picks.

Look how calm Daniels is there in that spot. Jones was never able to do that. How I wish he was!!!!....this isn't about jones though, I just wanna point out how "different" and how Daniels "pops" on tv. Slows it all down. Is it our coaching?..our line??...our QBs??....we have playmakers and our TE room has ability.

So - if Daboll was adamant about wanting to trade for Daniels, should that matter in bringing him back with "his" QB?

Im going to be real here ....  I thought Jayden was the worse of the three

And I sure as hell was wrong

I guess it can be an indicator that Daboll does know what a good qb looks like

Jones was never his guy .... Daboll essentially got him that contract after 2022 because he reduced his chances at making mistakes ... utilized his strengths (his feet) and he had saqoun to carry the offense on his back

Jones getting a leg injury + his neck issues not only doomed him but it doomed Daboll

I don't know why people are getting bent out of shape and are at each others' throats about this game.

We're tanking. The players know that. Everyone knows it.

It's good that we lost. That is clearly the objective. It just hasn't been said out loud.

The Commanders have also added pieces smartly too to aide Daniels in one year. They've  become a great story to make a playoff run. That franchise is much better organized,  forward thinking than our battered, tattered Blue. Last year, the Commanders wouldn't, couldn't beat anyone. They reorganized and found a formula, not just getting Daniels. Excellent example of how to get it done. Good luck Joe.

I know people are quick to call Neal the bust of the decade or whatever, but even Johnstone said he needs to be moved inside. He is still a big dude and we need to at least see if he can transition to guard which would help us tremendously.

He deserves nothing. I wanted Daniels badly too but what does that get me? Let him go to a team and be a QB coach if that's all that matters.
