As great a player as Barkley is, drafting him instead of a QB that year (Allen and Lamar were available) may have been the single biggest mistake of the past decade.

Again, just so nobody gets upset, that is not to say Barkley isn't awesome. I just think the decision was poor given the team's circumstances at the time.

This. Passing on two Hall of Fame quarterbacks for a running back. I won't even mention that they could have drafted Allen or Jackson and Nick Chubb. Instead they got Barkley, Hernandez and a nightmare at quarterback for the last six years.

By who? What success has Cutcliffe had? Has he won national titles or lead a top NFL offense? Who are all these other great NFL players what he has developed? Why do we keep holding this man to such a high regard?

Excellent point. We make it out like because he coached Eli that means he has mythical, Bill Walsh type status and deserves that type of reverence. Silly.

If I picked a second one, it would be not doing the Hyatt trade. Could have gotten Achane and Puka with those picks we traded. Achane with Tracy would make the Barkley pill ALOTTTT easier to swallow, while Puka/Nabers would be ridiculous together.
