Ummmm...I'm literally the only poster who called Dabs 2022 CoY performance a mirage. So, while you have oscillated between him being a good and terrible coach, I have remained consistent. Hes a good coach when paired with a plus QB and well below average when he's not.

I've oscillated? Never. I don't oscillate. I want a good coach no matter who the QB is. A coach who takes responsibility for every aspect of the team, not just the QB.

Good game for team .....if they really want aQB in first round they can get him with trade.....actually this may for the best ...as they will have to really believe in the guy to trade for him...
No guarantees with a top QB pick....build the team from inside out .... O line d line ...they have good rb and good wrs already.
If Lock can get 45 ...then a new QB.    #1 pick or not can get done also. 
Key to game was very few penalties to hurt or stop drives...very few drops and decent QB play.  O line was good as well.

IMO, it doesn't matter who the next coach is, if we fail to secure a plus-QB.  If the Giants fire Dabs, I won't lose a bit of sleep; however, I also get the argument that he deserves a shot with a legit QB.

Well, this was... startling. Any given Sunday always applies, so I won't let it fool me into thinking Daboll and Schoen should be back next year.

The Raiders won too, surprisingly, so the race to the bottom is still anyone's game.

Who did? He was a breath of fresh air compared to Judge but I never can evaluate a coach after one year, good or bad. You are mistaken.  L

Gotcha...fundamentally, the Giants looked elite because they got got elite QB play.  I'm sure this was a one-off for Lock, but it shows how good the supporting players are with competent QB play.

Would you consider Lock as a back up QB to someone like Fields, Flaco etc. AND draft a QB to sit for a year or two.

I like the notion of signing Fields this year and drafting our starter in 2026; I'm also ok with gambling on a 2d round QB.

Shoen and Daboll cannot keep their jobs unless they draft a QB . What would they tell Mara , " we can sign Justin Fields to be our QB , we don't need a QB right now with our first round pick". Mara replies , " you kept telling me that you never had the opportunity to draft your own QB and work with him "
