Only one I can think is Sam Darnold.... But god forbid we give him a contract and he's Daniel Jones part 2

I don't have a good answer.   I will say that Schoen and Daboll will be desperate to solve the problem.

I'd be interested to see what you can put around Fields, he'll be cheap.

I was interested in him last year but he had no chance in starting here with Jones.

Darnold will want something better than the Giants,,no? And expensive. New Orleans? Titans? Are there good options for him now? Will the Niners sink 60 million into Purdy? Will the Vikes franchise him?. Will the Jags pull the plug on Lawrence? Hard to say..but Fields could be a bridge guy cheap.

Yep, he at this point is beyond desperate. He will be panicking because there is no way he will be allowed to go into 2025 without a starting QB and survive till 2026.

He will sell the franchise's future down the river to get the QB he desperately needs. Mortgaging a plethora of 1st rd picks for a QB he could have easily had if the Giants lost the last two games.

I would not take a QB in top five of the first round whether I had the pick or worse, had to trade up.

There isn't a QB coming out, worthy of such a pick. Still pissed that we lost out on number one for rebuilding purposes.

More praying for FA and mid-round picks to pan out this coming off season.

Yeah..I think that's where we're headed with Mara keeping him. That is a huge mistake. This team can't afford to trade draft capital...especially with Schoen

For me, there isn't a new plan. The plan remains the same.

Pass on Sanders / Ward, as neither are top 5 QBs. Possibly draft someone like Dart in the 3rd or Howard in the 4th or 5th (but I'd be fine passing on QB entirely in this draft). Sign a vet to a 2-year deal. Draft a QB in the 1st in 2026, where the 3rd or 4th best guy in the class will be better than the #1 guy in 2025.
