Looks like the committee made the right choice on Bama.  They are probably better than SMU but that doesn't mean much.

Hope anyone that thinks the Giants should draft Milroe saw that game.  One game obviously isn't a body of work, but there are several other games that tell me that at best, Milroe is a multi-year project that may eventually be good.

He hasn't declared. He has a $6M offer to transfer.

Ohio State, Illinois and Michigan each beat an SEC team in these bowls/playoffs.  Believe winner of Oregon vs Ohio State will beat Georgia.

Good to see Penn State move on. Was tough on D without Abdul Carter in the 2nd half.  Allar did not play great once Boise blitzed a ton....I'm not terribly impressed with Allar still.  Just not consistent enough. 

BUT a good win for sure and I hope we get to play Georgia!!!!

Is our need greater at Edge than DT?

If it's about pass rush then yes and maybe Carter should be the pick by the Giants.  If it's about run and holing up the middle then Mason Graham should be the pick.

I'd have to say stopping the run is the bigger concern on D. We don't seem to struggle to get sacks. Yes, Thibodeaux has been a disappointment but we do have Burns and Dex sacks a lot of guys too. Stopping the run we have been wretched for some time now. Getting a beast run stopper seems like a great idea to me.

Of course, if I'm picking between two players, one being a monster in the middle who pummels runners and the other being a premium edge guy, I'm taking the clear better player. Only if I have them graded equally would I make a decision based on position there.
