The postponement is for the absolute worst reasons imaginable, but tomorrow's time is a lot more reasonable.

That's a little high Ed. He doesn't have prototypical measurables for a north-south RB. Grit and determination only gets you so far. From what I'm reading, he's a 3rd-4th round guy.

At 6'4" 215 pounds, Beck got a lot of attention for his size.  Perfect physicals for a QB.  Then, you look at his yearly numbers for 2023 and 2024 and they look good.  The problem I see in Beck is that I think he does not do a good job of reading the field and he has no mobility.  Additionally, in 2024, he went through a six game stretch in which he threw 10 TDs along with 12 INTs.  It may have been the worst stretch of games from a supposed top QB I've seen in more than a decade.  That is what derailed him in spite of four final games in which he threw 11 TDs to 0 INTs.

I think he'll get drafted in something like the 4th round.  I just don't want him as I want a QB with some mobility.

Most scouting predictions have him late 1st, early 2nd.

So only poor kids will excel at QB in the NFL? Can you explain this ridiculous statement? Eli and Payton grew up affluent.
