Our schedule for next year is a killer, especially for a poor team. We may not win a home game once again.

Right  now the NFC South would be The Panthers , The AFC EAst would be The Patriots  and the NFC West would be the 49ers . I believe we would play the last place teams .

When you are a bottom feeder any schedule looks daunting

San Fran has clinched last in the NFC west and New England has clinched last in the AFC East.  If Carolina wins and New Orleans loses next week, New Orleans will finish last.  Anything else and it is Carolina.

Man, been waiting for a game vs GB to be away so I can see Lambeau, guess it shall wait at least another season.

This looks like another double-digit loss season.  I see 4 or 5 wins, at best

Don't forget the Lions also. Hell maybe we'll stink up Thanksgiving once again.

Looks like number 1 pick in 2026 is a real possibility! Although, the Giants will likely mess that up too
Ain't nothing to it but to do it!

Between the schedule and the likelihood that Mara will not make any significant changes, that does appear to be the plan for the next couple of years.  Maybe next year's QB class will be better than this years

Regardless of what happens at QB, Raiders will probably end up with Ward or Sanders

Rich,

I thought you were "not really in the prediction business."

It's not a prediction; it is simply what it looks like.  Obviously teams will not be the same next year vs this year, so I can't imagine making any sort of serious prediction of win totals.  At first blush and based on what we see this year, and assuming no change in coaching or front office and appreciating that the team's draft capital is unlikely to significantly improve the roster compared to the rest of the NFL (which also drafts) and the team's salary cap space will likely get eaten up in an effort to land some sort of bridge QB veteran (and frankly Schoen hasn't shown a knack for bargain shopping in free agency), there seems to be little reason to believe this team will not have double-digit losses next season.

Maybe the team will get incredibly lucky and somehow land a franchise QB.  Maybe they hit on all their draft picks.   Maybe the lack of accountability and questionable coaching will all somehow fix themselves. Maybe despite the league's worst medical staff, they stay reasonably healthy.   It's all possible, but it hardly seems likely.

Oh come on Lenn. We won a home game this year remember? So there isn't a "once again".

Every years some Giants fan has to whine about the schedule like the league is out to get us or the Football gods hate us. You play the cards you are dealt. You don't get better playing creampuff teams.
