"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."
~ Coach Tom Coughlin

I don't see it as a troll. I see it as nonsense. If that makes him happy though have at it.

But things can change fast in the NFL Saquon.

I'll revisit this issue down the road.

Mara treated him very well during his time here. He could have franchised him again but let him go get paid by the Eagles. It's low key disrespectful but should come as no surprise that once again Philly brings out the inner dirtbag in their team/fans.

He has every right to make fun of the Giants and we have to grin and bear it because our beloved Giants are owned and run by a bunch of incompetents.

It is what it is.

Sad but true. You've got me wishing for the "good old days" of the Bob Tucker Giants (I know you remember how his career was "wasted" playing on an awful team... so awful that he ultimately ended with the Eagles (but his results weren't as good as they have been so far for Saquon).  Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

To the victor goes the spoils.  He got his money, he got 2K yards, he would have broken the rushing record if he had played this week.  He got it all.  Kudos to him.

The only issue I kinda have is that he's poking fun at the wrong guy!  Mara was the one that was pushing hard to bring him back regardless of cost because he doesn't know what he's doing.  That was his biggest ally.  Of course Barkley was never coming back no matter what they offered because he knew he had Philly waiting for him which is a much better situation, but if you're going to take shots take shots at the guys that let you go.

Didn't Bob Tucker go to the Vikings after his time with the Giants?

Peace!

"Dave Jennings was one of the all-time great Giants. He was a valued member of the Giants family for more than 30 years as a player and a broadcaster, and we were thrilled to include him in our Ring of Honor. We will miss him dearly." (John Mara)

We have had to deal with one of the worst seasons in this team's history.  Is some silly trolling from Barkley, who took time from enjoying his great success to do so, even going to register?

I'd guess only with those who still seem to have a weird axe to grind against the guy.

It really is amazing the season he has had, if you stop to think about and appreciate it.  Obviously should have won the all-time rushing record this week, one that has been in place for 40+ years - in an NFL MUCH more geared toward the passing game.  We just may see that infamous gold jacket on of the guy, yet.  Hard to imagine what he could have done in this 1st half of his career if he had landed on an even mediocre team and been able to avoid serious injury.

k-man: Yes but my lousy memory tells me that eventually he went to the Eagles for at least one season before calling it a day. Bob
