this might have already been done, but I figured it would be interesting to see people's lists

My five

1) The Natural
2) Major League
3) North Dallas 40
4) Happy Gilmore
5) The Waterboy

There are many others, I would add (like Field of Dreams, Caddy Shack, Rockey, and Dodgeball), but I went 5. The 5 I listed I would happily sit down and watch tonight).

In case you need to refresh your memory, here is a top 100 list

SMART, TOUGH, DEPENDABLE

I've never been a big fan of sports movies, but there's a few that I like

1) Sandlot is definitely my favorite
2) The Rookie
3) Field of Dreams
4) Major League
5) Mr. Baseball
Honorable Mention: Bull Durham, and The Natural

From a series point of view, I really enjoyed Ted Lasso
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

Lots and lots of great sports movies, to pick a top 5 is incredibly hard

1---Raging Bull
2-- Rocky
3---Slap shot
4---Miracle
5---Pride of the Yankees

And as I said, 5 is hard so I'll add 5 more

6---Hoosiers
7---Bad News Bears
8---Seabiscuit
9---Field of Dreams
10--Cinderella Man
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

Seabiscuit was phenomenal...forgot about that one. I also liked Tin Cup with Kevin Costner in a golf comedy

Tin Cup was an obscure movie, not sure that it could even be found, but it was a fun watch

A couple others that I like, but forgot...one football (Draft Day), one NASCAR (Days of Thunder), great cast, a young Tom Cruise, a young Nicole Kidman, Robert Duvall, even Randy Quaid. Great scene when Kidman (dressed like a cop) searches him and grabs him by the crotch. They actually got married soon after that...lol

Yeah, just some silly fun. There are loads of better movies, but I watch it when I see that it's on.
