Quote from: H-Town G-Fan on January 18, 2025, 10:54:53 PMOof. Could be a very rough loss for Detroit given the expectations. Damn.

If only they had even half of the 16 players they have on injured reserve.

That said, the "Team Formerly Known as the Redskins" came to play and had all the answers tonight.

Impressive win.

Peace!

"Dave Jennings was one of the all-time great Giants. He was a valued member of the Giants family for more than 30 years as a player and a broadcaster, and we were thrilled to include him in our Ring of Honor. We will miss him dearly." (John Mara)

Turnovers cost them. Defensive injuries finally caught up to them.

Brady had a great quote tonight on how the QB is so important and he can literally change a franchise. Wish I could remember the exact quote but I thought of our franchise when he said it

He is so right

Agreed, QB makes a huge difference. A year ago, the Giants were better or at least equal to them, now they are worlds apart.

Goff's gaffes proved too much to overcome.  Especially with all those injuries on the defense.

My friends were angry at me last year for actively rooting for the Patriots in a ridiculously bad garbage time game last year against the Giants. And here we are.

Daniels is even better than I thought and he was my top overall prospect. Amazing poise, accuracy..he does everything well and the line gave him plenty of time. My concern with him was his frame; he did get injured a bit this year but recovered tremendously. What a rookie and well prepared team.

On the other hand, the Lions injuries were too much to overcome. And Goff really pumpkined yesterday. He was a mess from the start, looked jittery almost immediately Really feel bad for their fans. Great season, super fun team to watch only to crumble at home.

Let's go Rams/Bills today for me. I want a coach from the McVay coaching tree if I had my druthers.Nothing would warm me up more than a Philly flame out today, however unlikely it may seem. Bills have the weather factor but the Ravens are big and tough..can play in it. That game could be epic.

I am so sad for the fans in Detroit. This is the most upsetting non-Giant playoff game that I can remember. Letting a WR throw into double coverage was baffling bad.
