Okereke was pretty sought after.

Gettleman's free agent signings were poor but he did sign names that were fairly prominent at the time of the signing (Golladay and Solder). "Sought after" doesn't mean they were good on the Giants.

The Giants have same duck regime, which will over pay to keep their jobs that's how they will attract talent.

George Young's words ring true
"When they say it's not about the money it is always about the money.ALWAYS.

When the Giants won the SB and for a time we might have been the best team in the league, I remember players leaving in FA to go to an organization that was a perennial loser and I scratch my head thinking why would any player, especially one who wants to be part of winning, go to a perennial loser just for a few extra bucks. Most of these guys will have more money than they will ever need why not be in a winning environment?
I still don't understand why but it is all about the money.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

Juan Soto comes to mind.  They always will go after every last dollar unless they get to an age when they are past their prime and just want a championship.

But the big difference is Soto won a WS with his original team, made the playoffs with his next 2 (Padres, Yankees) and is heading towards the NL runner up with an owner willing to spend spend spend. It's not like the highest bidder was Seattle or the Cubs who can't figure how to even qualify for the playoffs.

It is always about the money and there are other unknowns...

Go get a guy like Will Fries OT for Indy.  Outside of Ron Stanley he is the best OT available with excellent pass blocking grades and even better run blocking grades.  He is born in Staten Island and played high school ball in North Jersey.

Bring him home and pay a guy like that

M O N E Y. Soto left the Yankees for the Metropolitans for a deal that paid him $5 mil more over 15 rather than 16 years. That's how a term like Top Free Age is defined 95 percent of the time even if you are a local Giants mewling, whining, basher

Cheers!

As long as the GIANTS can somehow manage a Professional Offensive Line that blocks, Matthew Stafford should be able to run the offense.
Still can't believe this team allowed their running back to leave before kicking that offensive line's asses so hard that the offensive coordinator was wearing them as hats every weekday

I am sure he could, but he is on the Rams, or did I miss something?

Thought a story line came across that he might be traded to GIANTS if untrue my apologies
