We all have our opinions. Many here thought she was spot on for years on everything Giants.

I do like what she says about QBs in that Garafalo isn't usually mentioned here as a bridge but I think he would be an excellent choice.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

I hope you meant Garoppolo  :P

The problem though is that Garrapolo doesn't do what Daboll needs from a Qb. Daboll needs Deep throws, and mobility to get the short intermediate going plus the run game. Garrapolo is the opposite of that.

And yeah that's just my opinion on Patti, I think a lot of her thoughts etc are stuff that we've been discussing for a while as a group and it comes off somewhat lazy. Just my take as I prefer the Nick falato Dan Schneier podcast or even the talking Giants guys who typically see things way different than.

Patti begins by stating that Schoen/Daboll have laid out a Mara-approved plan which will unfold over the next several months. Are we supposed to guess what to expect from its unfolding or just go straight to what WE would do to- do what? To correct its errors, fill in its deficiencies, or whatever might otherwise keep the Giants from getting "back on track"? Huh? Hmm?

If everything she suggests isn't and/or hasn't been altogether obvious, her assertion that they must Draft better than in 2022 and 2023 is like telling the Pope that needs to become a Catholic. Okay Patricia, if you say so. Phew!! Yeah, but then I guess when we talk Giants, somethings are just what they are.

Cheers!

Not a fan of the idea of restructuring deals in order to free up space now.  I do not want Schoen going into desperation mode to do whatever he can to get into the playoffs in 2025 just to be screwed in 2026-2028.  Hence, why I really hope Mara did not give him some ultimatum to make the play-offs or else.

Quote from: Brooklyn Dave on February 06, 2025, 12:19:20 AMWhat about Carson Wentz as a bridge QB ?

Wentz would not be my choice as there are several others I would prefer including Marcus Mariota as my Numero Uno.

Cheers!
