What a weird move. I would understand shelling out for him if they were set at QB, but they aren't. Russell isn't it, Fields isn't it, and Darnold probably can't be it either.

So now you've got a lame duck QB whose leadership can't be taken seriously, plus two top receivers with attitude problems fighting over the ball. Days of Our Steelers, season two.

I don't get this trade.  Steelers have QB issues and Metcalf wanted to play with a young, established QB, not a merry go round of QBs on the decline.

Steelers definitely addressed a need, they now have a good tandem with Metcalf and Pickens.  Not sure which direction they are going in terms of QB, but its probably easier to sell a QB on the team when you add Metcalf. 

Bigger contract than I would have guessed, but without seeing guarantees the true value is unknown.
