I don't know that he's a linebacker. They have him listed as DE/DT most places and edge on a few but i think hes a DE/DT. 6'5 268lbs, rotational guy until this past year. The past 16 games he has 1int, 5pd, 1FF, 1FR, 7 sacks, 81 tackles, 8tfls, and 11qb hits. 64 PFF grade, and the 49th best pressure rate.

Really solid player for cheap to add to the line, and let Andre Patterson develop. He's only 4 years in the league.

Stays healthy, bigger guy who is a solid edge against the run, can play over G in 4 man fronts on passing downs. He does not have Ojulari's juice as a pure edge rusher but he is more versatile and (so far, hope it continues) more durable. It feels like a solid addition and a better fit for Bowen's schemes.
If you live your life as a pessimist you never really live your life at all.

Ed Vette

"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."
~ Coach Tom Coughlin

Seems like a solid depth piece with some upside at a reasonable price for a position where we badly needed good depth.

Of those stats, how many were against the Giants?  Those need to be removed so we can understand what he did against NFL teams.

In two games against the Giants 4 assists, 1 QB hit and 1 PD

Was 7th in pas rush win rate from the DT position in 2023 as a rotational DT. Moved to DE in 2024 and among edge players was 15th in total run stops, and a run stop rate of 6.8% which was 21st.

So not only does he create pressure, but he's great against the run and fills depth at both DT and DE.

I know people were down probably initially because they didn't get name brand guys, but this kid is young, really good, and we got him for multiple years for basically peanuts.

To your point, Dallas fans are not happy he left and more annoyed he signed with us.
