I think the key to this draft is what they think of Sanders.  It's looking to me like they'd have to catch a break to get Ward unless they give up draft capital they need to build up the trenches thus year.  I dont think giving ip a 3rd thus year and/or a 2nd next year plus our 1st this year would do the trick.  Sanders shoukd be available with the 3rd pick but I'm nervous about him given the various opinions, reminds me of Daniel Jones.

What I'm wondering about id Hunter who is my favorite for the 3td pick assuming Ward is gone.  While I would love him on the Giants, would the Jaguars offer a swap plus a premium pick or picks?  We could solidify the DL with Graham plus others and the Jags would give Lawrence a weapon

Here is a long but excellent article with narrative by the Pats great retired O-line coach on arm length

Rich: I'm sure you know this, but OL is all about the feet. Still, it never hurts to have any extra tiny advantage in the NFL, so an extra-long reach certainly helps when trying to recover from footwork errors... but it's still all about the feet. Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

If they want to draft a QB, I think you nailed 100% what the key is as far as their opinion of Sanders.  If they like him, very high probability wither he or Ward will be there at 3 as likely Hunter or Carter go as well.  If it's only Ward, then got to think someone takes him at 1 or 2.

Giants have to hold fast, not panic and just take a great player at 3 because one will be there.  That os 100% certain.

I posted, because in my old age I forgot where this was, a list of all the starting OT arm lengths, for reference.
